Online manipulation or corruption
For some time now I play chess on chess.com. And sometimes something strange happens during the game. For example, the clock ceases to function, and even though I should win the game on time, I lose the game because the chess clock does not work properly anymore. And the same thing happened again yesterday. I had a lot more time left on the clock than my opponent and would have won the game if the chess clock would not have suddenly ceased to count. The clock stopped for about 10 to 15 seconds for both players, and when the clock started to count again, my opponent had a lot more time left than I did. Well, this was an obvious manipulation of the Java application; one of many.
