Due to years of neglect, I didn\u2019t actually understand my own needs and feelings at all.
I couldn\u2019t even express them, because silence had become my response to the neglect.
It took a very long time for me to finally recognize the profound impact that emotional and psychological neglect had on my own life.
Now, I don\u2019t blame anyone for what happened.
